Pitch correction: love it or hate it, it can be a super useful tool. But honestly if it weren’t for Melodyne I don’t think I would use pitch correction half as much as I do. Melodyne is an elegant pitch (and time) manipulation solution for the modern studio. Today I want to show you a brief tutorial covering the mechanics of tweaking and correcting a vocal performance. If you’re new to Melodyne this should help. Enjoy!

Awesome video thanks! I use melodyne but i didnt know the global tuning/quantize pitch feature. Thank you!
Yes, the global tuning is huge! Glad I could help.
Hi.
I have Melodyne Editor. When using it in Pro Tools on a track as an insert.
How do I print the corrected audio back into PT?
Thanks
@Philip – Usually when you’re done tuning in Melodyne you need to “Save” the file in Melo, then choose spot to Pro Tools.
@Graham – Are using Melodyne Studio? Because I do not get a save function and spot back into pro tools function using Melodyne Editor as an insert on a PT track.
I’m using Melodyne Cre8 (a couple of years old). I’m not sure, but the FAQs on http://www.celemony.com are super helpful.
